SILCI team member Emilie Vrain has created a couple of short ‘postcard’ videos to provide insights on the benefits and barriers to some of the digital innovations being researched by the project. These videos (available here) are being used as teaching material by Dr Tom Hargreaves at the University of East Anglia as part of the module – Energy and People. This module explores the socio-technical relations that underpin the current energy system and how they might need to change to generate a sustainable energy future. Drawing upon SILCI’s work, Tom’s module provides the students with hot off the press research, supporting them to engage with and critically analyse the challenges of achieving a sustainable energy future.
