SILCI member Laurie Kerr recently sat on a panel of early career researchers at the “Science, Society and our Planet” event, which took place in Norwich Science Festival 2019.  The event encouraged discussion between the public and the panel members about some of the big problems facing society.  Some of the big questions discussed included the rise of antibiotic resistance, the future of GMOs and our food systems, and the role that individuals can play in reducing CO2 emissions.

A video recording of the discussion is available here.
